Zap Release: Mid November 2018

Tying up loose ends for the holidays

You’re closing transactions before the holiday season, and now you can show them off with Sold Homes. We’ve also brought resources to teams, an addition to Bulk Actions, and a crack-down on system bugs.

One final touch: Sold Homes

You worked hard to close that listing. Take one final action by showcasing your achievements with Sold Homes. From My Website, access the tab My Sold Homes. Sold Homes will be turned on for all agents and teams, and we’ll display your closed listings automatically. This will include all listings where an agent represented a buyer or seller. If you’d prefer to hide this feature, you can always toggle it off from My Website.

Teams, add resources to your website

Resources allows you to share partner links and other web pages. This has been available for agents but is now available to teams as well. From the left navigation, select My Team and then select the tab Resources.

Share your mobile app in bulk

Sharing your mobile app keeps you top of mind with your clients, even as they’re on the go! To share your app in bulk, click on Bulk Actions and select Share Mobile App. This will open an email template which invites users to your app. Preview the email and make any changes before clicking Send Email to confirm.

Reuse scripts with autocomplete

We’re making it easy to reuse your email scripts. To send an email, select Contacts from the left navigation and choose the contact you’d like to communicate with. Then, click Send an Email. Locate the field, Subject. Rather than selecting an email script from the Script Library, now you can search for a script by typing into the subject line.

Bug fixes and improvements

Bug Fixes

  • We’ve squashed the bugs that were making “Tag” feel more like “Gat!”.
    • When you assigned a contact to a Follow-up Plan, we automatically marked them with a Follow-up Plan tag. However, this tag wouldn’t go away after the contact left a plan. It will now.
    • If we see you’re no longer using a custom tag, we’ll retire it from your account.
    • We got ahead of ourselves. When you tried to add a tag, our system would autocomplete the field before you hit enter. This led to preemptive tagging. We’ve since then taken a breather and no longer autocomplete your entries.
  • If your contact is missing an email address, we’ll no longer give you the option to send an email. If your contact is missing a phone number, we won’t prompt you to log a call.
  • You tried exporting your contacts, but Zap wasn’t capturing your contacts’ addresses. We’ve fixed this.
  • The Transactions page was showing properties that were no longer relevant, such as withdrawn or deleted transactions. Now, we’ll display only pending, closed, or cancelled transactions.
  • Happy birth—anniversary? When you tried to import your contact details from a CSV file, we would store the anniversary date under the birthday field. No more birthday surprises! We’ve corrected this.
  • If you 1) filtered your contacts down to ten results and 2) applied a bulk status change, the bulk change would impact all your filtered contacts. We’ve fixed this so bulk status updates only the contacts you’ve selected, filtered or not.
  • When you marked a showing request as complete, it wouldn’t clear from the dashboard. It will now.

  • We’ve implemented a date picker for birthday and anniversary fields so it’s easier to indicate dates from the far past.
  • For contacts with missing first, last, or full names, we’ll display what we have or indicate the contact as “Name not provided”.
