Zap Release: August 2015

    In this release, we added a cool new feature to Zap. Follow-up Plans allow you to define a series of calls and emails (automated and personally sent) for each of your contacts, giving you drip email capability with a huge amount of flexibility.


    We’ve also given you the ability to customize a welcome email that you can have automatically sent out to new leads. Additionally, you can manually send a welcome email to any of your contacts. We know this is something you’ve been dying for, and hope you like the new functionality.


    We’re also fixing a lot of bugs you’ve identified. Thanks for your help, please keep it coming!  


    Feature Improvements

    Follow-ups help you identify the people in your contact pool that are the most important for you to touch base with. You'll see them on your dashboard. Follow-ups can also send out email communications automatically for you. Here are a couple of things you should know:

    • You can create Follow-up Plans from scratch using any scripts, timing and method of communication that suits your needs. 
    • So that you know who needs a Follow-up Plan, all of your new and reassigned leads will be in a new area of the Follow-ups dashboard called “Needs Attention”. From here, you can assign a follow-up plan to each of your leads.
    • You can easily find all of your contacts that are out of compliance or approaching out of compliance in the “Priority” area of follow-ups, so you can easily find them and contact them.

    We know how important it is to be able to tell your contacts about your new website. We’ve added a new feature that allows you to set up a welcome email that you can customize.

    • New leads can get an automatic message from you, prompting them to check out your website. 
    • You can resend the welcome message to anyone in your contact pool.
    • If you had been using LeadRouter prior to Zap and have a pool of leads already, you can send the welcome email to them as well.

    Linking up your MLS to Zap allows you to show off your listings in the featured listings modules on your website. We’ve improved this feature, allowing you to enter in your name and select it from a list to better match you with your MLS ID.

    We’ve made additional improvements to mobile web! Consumers can swipe through photos on the home details page without having to open the photo viewer. We’re also updating the design for the saved homes detail pages. 


    We’re adding your photos to the Community! It’s a small, nice-to-have, but we’re really excited to see your faces there. Smiley Happy 


    Bugs: you found them, we’ve fixed them! 

    • Requests for Info and Showings show you all of the details and you’re able to update them. Links to property details go to the correct website.
    • We’ve updated the saved homes page, to show all saved properties, including those that are off-market.
    • Some listings are showing up multiple times in the featured listings module on the agent websites and company websites.  Those duplicates have been removed.
    • We’re showing all listings and agents in the company homepage modules, regardless of metro. We have been only showing listings and agents associated with one metro in companies where multiple metros were covered.
    • The “Broker Features” areas of the Community and Knowledge Base are visible to all Brokers and Admin – they were previously hidden.
    • We’ve updated the way that California license information is displayed on the websites.
