Adding Property Insights on mobile

Property Insights are short posts you can display about properties you’ve toured, and they’re a great way to market yourself to potential customers. With Zap’s mobile app, you can post Property Insights on the go, straight from your iPhone or Android device.

 

 

 

Add Property Insights to a new showing

 

To add new Property Insights from the app, follow the steps below.

 

  1. In the bottom navigation menu, tap Quick Add and select New Showing.
  2. Tap Add Property, and search for the property by address or by MLS number. Once you see the property in the list of results, tap on it to confirm.
  3. Tap Add Contact, and search for the name of the Contact you visited the property with. When you see the Contact’s name in the list of results, tap on it to confirm. (If you toured the home yourself, you should mark yourself as the Contact. If you haven’t done so, you may need to add yourself as a Contact.)
  4. The date and time of the showing will be auto-filled for you, but you can tap “Change” to adjust them.
  5. Tap Add Agent Insights.
  6. In the box labeled “Comments,” you can share details about the property and the surrounding area. Once you’ve posted, these comments will be visible on the home’s detail page. Use this opportunity to share your personal take on the property and stand out to consumers.
  7. You can also choose up to 3 tags that convey some of the key qualities of the property to potential buyers.
  8. Once you’re done, tap Done in the upper right corner of your screen. You’ll be taken to the Showing Appointment’s details page. Make sure that you’re satisfied with your Property Insights, and then tap the blue Save button at the bottom of the screen.

 

Add Property Insights for an existing showing appointment

 

To add new Property Insights from the app for an existing showing, follow the steps below.

 

  1. Tap More in the bottom navigation menu, then tap Showing Appointments under the section labeled “Business.”
  2. Use the search bar to search for the showing by property address or by the name of the Contact who you took to view the property. Once you’ve found it, tap on it.
  3. On the showing appointment’s detail page, scroll down to the menu labeled “Status” and tap on the menu. Change the status to “Completed.”
  4. You should see the section labeled “Add Property Insights” appear above the status menu.
  5. Tap Add Agent Insights.
  6. In the box labeled “Comments,” you can share details about the property and the surrounding area. Once you’ve posted, these comments will be visible on the home’s detail page. Use this opportunity to share your personal take on the property and stand out to consumers.

What do Property Insights look like?

 

Customers will be able to see your Property Insights on the home detail page for the properties you post about, along with an easy link to your website.

Customers will also see your most recent Property Insights on your website’s home page, with a link to view all of your posts. They can also click straight through to view a property you’ve posted Property Insights about.
