Zap Release: Mid April 2018

If you’ve ever listed a home (we’re guessing that’s lots of you), this release is for you! Keep track of your listing appointments, keep your sellers in the loop on their listings, and keep yourself and your clients on schedule with text message reminders!

 

Zap will be down for a few hours starting Tuesday 4.10, at 9 PM PDT

You can expect to see changes from this release first thing on Wednesday, 4.11.

 

Engage sellers with the Listing Activity Report emails

When you list a home, there’s a lot riding on how well it does on the market—for you, of course, but especially for the seller. In this release, we’re giving you an easy way to keep your sellers in the loop on how their home is doing on your website and app. The Listing Activity Report is a weekly automated email that you can choose to send to any active seller who has a listing on your site, and includes stats on how many times leads have viewed, saved, or requested a showing for the property.

To opt-in to send this email, you’ll need to:

  1. Make sure your Zap account is linked with your MLS memberships
  2. Go to the Contact Profile for the seller and go to “Listings” under “Business”
  3. Add a Listing, and then toggle “Listing Activity” on under “Campaigns”

 

Keep track of listing appointments in Zap

 

Listing a home with a client is a big win. Now, you’ll be able to keep track of your listing appointments in Zap with ease! To add a listing appointment, click on + Add in the top navigation bar, select “New Meeting,” and click on Listing Appointment to fill in the details.

You can also keep track of your past listing appointments under “Business” in Zap’s left navigation panel, or on the Contact Profile for anyone you’ve had a listing appointment with.

 

Send text message appointment reminders

You might already be using email confirmations and reminders to stay on the same page with your clients about upcoming appointments. Now, you can make it even more immediate with text messages. As you’re setting up an appointment, just check the box to opt-in to text messages.

 

Edit your Property Insights

Last release, you got the ability to delete your Property Insights. But maybe you’ve got content you don’t want to scrap completely—you just want to make some edits. Now, you can go to the “My Website” page, go to “Agent Insights”, and click “View Details” beside any of your Property Insights to edit tags and comments.

 

Bug fixes and improvements

  • Zap’s character limit was causing bulk import to fail for Contacts with more than 4,000 characters worth of notes.We’ll truncate those notes to get Contacts into Zap smoothly.
  • Agents were getting an error when trying to bulk export contact information for >1000 Contacts. We’ve fixed that bug.
  • Advanced search filters on the consumer site weren’t sticking in map view. That bug will be gone in this release!
  • A bug was causing Outlook emails not to send through Zap. This was fixed on 3/30.
